While some call for the death penalty, and indeed Norman Tebbit is doing so, it will never happen. Just read this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19630617 interestingthat the bbc almost tried to hide the story on there european page.

I don't agree with the death penalty because it's too quick and easy for scum like this!  >:(

Life should mean life, no parole, no TV, X box, books, gym, courses or anything! Bang him up in a bare cell and feed him bread and water for the rest of his natural days.....  >:(  He'd have plenty of time to reflect on things!!  >:(

insufficent evidence apparently but I am sure that is going to be given a thorough going over now - after the event!!

This incident brings back memories of my next door neighbour of 30 years ago who some years after we moved to London was the survivor in the 1989 M62 police murder.
