asked him tonight what wood is it.and he told me chestnut and ash  :y
If it's seasoned then it's a good price and can be burnt. Chestnut burns very hot when well seasoned (most of ours is chestnut) but it does crack and spit a little.

If it's not seasoned, it's still a good price but you'll need to store it for a year or 2 to season it
