Indeed. Drive at the right end, plenty of weight over the driven wheels. IIRC the engine overhangs the back a bit, so might be a bit lively in a 911 kind of way, but not so much power, so perhaps not as deadly when the engine decides it'd rather be at the front?
I bet they were breathed-on a bit, though. By way of tuning, IIRC, the Alfa boxer engines will bolt on.
