I have the modifying bug.....
« on: 26 April 2008, 19:59:10 »

And I think it is going to cost me :D

I have looked at the Irmscher and Steinmetz kits for my mig, and I love them.  Trouble is though they are pretty costly.  And I would like to spray the car metallic black.  Don't get me wrong, I love petrol blue, but I have a thing for metallic black.

I'd also like a nice set of subtle 19" alloys, tint the windows and debadge the car.  I like the sleek look of smooth bodywork.

It's either the above mentioned project of buy a BMW 330ci cabriolet  :)

Hence why it might be costly, either I will have to bribe an existing owner to part with theirs or pay someone to make a kit specially in that style.

Don't spray your car black; it's a nice and desirable colour. Sell it and buy a black one if you have to have a metallic black one.

Good luck with the mods; keep them subtle :y
