Ive recently bought an Omega 2.2 CDX Tourer with the Z22 engine. Already I have had issues. I bought the car for what I thought was a bargain at £595 with an MOT until April 2013 but requiring tax. Ive had the car nearly 3 months now. I first had an issue with over heating, this turned out to be a knackered water pump. The previous owner had serviced the car and changed the cam belt but not the water pump, of course the bearings gave up and caused massive leakage. So, What I have done is, service the car all over again with vauxhall recommended oils etc, replaced the head gaskets etc, new thermostat, new water pump, plugs and filters. The car itself is massively clean, the leather is spotless with no rips and gets cleaned and fed monthly, the soft plastics are not good though and need replacing, they have been scratched and not easy on the eye. Other than that, the interior is spotless. the outside is clean and straight other than the bumpers and a ding in the rear quarter. Recently I have had other problems but I will post in the relevant section.
So thats the car introduced, more on me later
