Ex bikers make better drives, no doubt.

Bikers have to think so much more than drivers, whats around them, wind conditions, weather conditions.

I can do my commute in exactly the same style in wet or dry, you can't in a bike, you have to avoid man hole covers, painted white lines as they will be slippy.

You have to think about the wind and rain so much more, car drives can just sit there with one hand on the wheel at 80mph in the wet...

Its a fact, plain and simple that x-bikers make better car drivers.[/quote

It doesnt matter what your like in a car thats not the argument, It still doesnt change the fact that the majority ride like bloody hooligans, its like listening to Arsene Wenger this, only see what you want.

 ;D ;D

Maybe cause around your way all bikers have L plates and are still at school? Messing around on 50cc scooters?

Come on now...

By the look of your picture, if that is your car, you have spent money putting all kinds of err 'stuff' on your car, fake stupid bumpers, ironing board for a rear spoler, exhaust the size of mellons, lowering it so you go around corners better, you are all the same, you chav your cars up, then drive around with you caps on, in 2nd gear all the time engine screaming, flying though town, doing spins in car parks, putting stupid neons on....

Wrong again, why the hell should we car drivers have to ride a bike? We grew out of that when we 10 and havnt hit the mid life crisis yet!!! I cant even see how you can deny it as on a day to day basis you see far more idiots on bikes than in cars and as there are a lot more cars on the road think that means the percentage of riders that are idiots to car drivers proves my point, again.
That is precisely why bikers have an issue with a minority of car drivers - drivers who have no clue of what is going on around them.

And, no, you're wrong - I see far, far, far more stupid drivers than I do bikers.  And bikes are very popular around these parts, esp in the summer, as I live 7m from Silverstone.

Additionally, stupid bikers don't last long, obviously.  Unfortunately, stupid drivers tend to survive.

I've been riding regularly since my 20s - hardly mid life crisis I think.

I think its fair to say, a very significant proportion of riders take advanced courses. How many drivers do that? Very few.

1) I don't own a motorbike
2) Don't have a licence for one (yet)

3) My point exactly i made assumptions on your type of car.... see what is like?

Your the one making assumptions here!  ;D ;D

Though my driving experiance, i found found bikers very good road users, aware of everything and responsable. Guy over the road from he has superbikes! Very responable rider.

Stop assuming bloody chavs screaming around your town on scooters are like all bikers.
