I almost always do watch something else, but I still have to pay for the Beeb. The EU affects my day and your day every day,you just might not realise.
Thats life.
I try to avoid the useless NHS, I have no kids to send to schools, I can't use trains or buses. Or libraries, the local council run sports facilities. And so on.
But I still have to pay for them.
Live with it, get over it.
I'm not a big BBC fan, as you probably gather. But lets not do away with it just yet. And thank god that UKIP will never get in power.
And your reasons for that statement?
Because hes as well versed in political matters as you and I are in the matter of rebuilding servers.

I'm guessing your day job isn't politics (well, no more than the office politics in all medium/large businesses), so its unfair for me to expect you to understand servers (my day job) as well as I understand politics.
However, I am not going to ram my views down everyone's neck, and start arguments with every person who holds a differing viewpoint, and, like a little Yorkie Terrier, not let it go. Doing so is, IMHO, poisonous to OOF. It will kill it. I'd wager that most people come on here, assuming their Omega is working properly, for a bit of fun/enjoyment. Not to be snarled at because we disagree with those who feel they should be allowed to dictate people's views.
Once again, we find in genchat, full of links pointing to articles written by journalists with their own agendas - and each and every link I could post a counter article by another set of journalists, with their own agendas - and excluding all those who disagree. What happened to the fun?
C'mon guys and gals, lets lighten up, and make this section welcoming to everyone, whether they are blue, yellow, red, couldn't care less, or even purple.
Although quoting Albitz, other than my first paragraph, not aimed at anyone specifically.
