Aerial lead MIA!.....
« on: 22 November 2012, 18:07:22 »

Hi,

I removed my head lining at the weekend and apart from about 8-10 meters of cable the police had left up there, I also found the cable to my roof aerial has been cut off!

The radio still works ok but I am now thinking if it has a rear screen aerial fitted???

Can anyone tell me how to tell??? I see on the Bay of E's that there are rear screen aerial amps so I must have that??? Where would it be fitted???

Yep, I can see two bolts from the topside of the shelf, can't see what they hold but I will guess it's the amp???

No, all Omega saloons have the aerial incorporated into the rear screen.  ;)

Visible is likely to be plod, invisible likely to be factory :y

The aerial amp will be a small box, possibly 4"x1.5"x0.75" and will be attached to the parcel shelf structure :y
