Just got cam belt done

Evening all got my cam belt done today and took your advice and had the waterpump done as well,thanks for your advice and now i dont have to worry for a while now. CHEERS ;) :y :y :y

2.0 cambelt and pump is a 2hr job MAX :(

£100 for belt kit and pump from Vx.

Not sure how you achieved that unless you didn't do/need the water pump.  :-?

GM cambelt kit (belt, tensioner, rollers) is £100 at tc price.
Water pump is £25 ish
Aux belt (optional) £17
Anti freeze 5l £10

Oh and £270 to have a garage do it is quite a good price. I just hope the timed it up properly.

just the belt kit ,75 quid (gates),waterpump done at previous change so i left it this time. also bought the member who was kind enough to loan me the tools a case of stella . ;)

getting mine sorted on thurs, another job crossed off the list... its been 50k now so i know im pushing my luck...! damn that inaccurate vx handbook  ;)

She is running like a dream at the moment lets just hope it stays that way.It has been well looked after and she has only got 85000 on the clock with all mot's :)
