I really like it here in London. There are just so many places to go/things to do etc. I've even got used to the traffic.
There are a lot of people here who originate from other countries. I really like that!
I used to run a superstore in the Old Kent Road Kate, and I dealt with, I think, every nation under the sun on a daily basis, and that was just my staff team!!

Like you, I really loved that as I had some wonderful conversations, learning a hell of a lot about other countries and their people, as well as having a good laugh on many occasions. One Anglo-African I knew well and when he came back from going to his parents country, we joked about how good his sun tan was compared to mine. Straight, no hang up, conversations! But THAT is what is good about living and working in London. People say it as it is, but keep their noses out of your business, without them making judgement.
I often said that you could walk down the street dressed as a banana and no-one would think that is unusual!
Oh, I miss it all - London, dear London
