The weather is bloody miserable. The news is full of doom and gloom. Its getting dark by half past 3. Its poxy xmas again, which gets dearer and more commercial every year. Wages are staying the same. Cost of living is going up. SHMBO has decided now is a good time to redecorate the dining room (???????). But still we laugh and smile. Because if we didnt we'd all be having bleeding breakdowns!!!!! Dont let the aresholes win!

Yep, a bit. Been a strange year and although business is going well I'm still expanding so still not earning from it. Always a concern when you've got other people's lives (financially) in your hands too ::)

But, chin up and get on with it :y :y

YEP big time, but just remember the shortest day is nearly here, and then the sun will be shining, birds singing, and then you`ll have the lawn to mow, and the house to paint etc etc,
wont that be fun, make you feel so much better... :y

you could be driving a car like mine....now that is depressing... :)

To be fair, I am a sufferer of SAD so that plays a part :o

However, I have a daylight lamp and find that really helps :y Not needed as much this winter as I tend to walk the hound just after lunch most days ;)

Yep, but I always feel that the days take longer to open out than to close in, despite knowing that that is impossible..... :( :( :(

I do not like going to and coming home from work in the dark, something unnatural about that.... :( :(

I had a pretty nasty bike accident 6 years ago. Broke lots of bones, This time of year my body hates the cold and wet. Does beat you down. Can't wait until it starts to warm up again.

If you have any flouresent light you work under Lazydocker, change the lamps to colour 85. It takes a coulpe of days to get used to them but it does help SAD.
With my life at the moment, worked in Bedford for 9 months, £35 a day in fuel but not enough wage to consider lodging, job finished, signed on, they screwed up claim so no dole money. It has to go before a tribunal so due to that, they cant pay emergency payments. tribunal next summer, even though they admit they are wrong, cant stop there system. No money since mid October. Washing machine packed up start of October and now a promise, finally, of the replacement coming this friday. No jobs out there for me at all, MOT on Mig thursday.Ex wife sodding about with divorce settlement for a year and a half now. If it wasnt for the love of my good woman, I dont know where I would be at the moment

Dark when you leave for work, dark when you get home - I know the feeling.. and with Amy's shift pattern at the moment it feels like we've been working 7 days a week for the last few weeks (her days off have been when I'm at work and vice versa). Coupled with being poor (I can't even afford the £150 or so to recon the calipers on the M3 and get the fun car back on the road) and spending what free time we get working on the house (still trying to sort her boxes out after she moved in!)..

Roll on spring & summer and some warmer, lighter, longer days!
