Until they sort out the glass defence, Villa are going nowhere (except down, but fortunately this was a cup game)

Some clubs are too big to go down. Or think they are. Bit like Southampton a while back. The sooner they go down the better. Then they will have to sort the shambles out, instead of buggering about pretending they are still a premiership team.

Yougest son is a season ticket holder and has been for about 5 years (now 17) I only have a mild interest but do like to see my local team do well.
Son keeps telling that Saints are one of the richest clubs mow. Don't personally see it myself. And cannot be bothered to check it out.

He keeps going on and on about them, and has a couple of fully signed shirts. He is one of those that hangs around to talk to players aswell  ::)

Im old enough to remember Man Utd. being relegated in the early 70,s. :)
Iirc Denis Law - who had recently transferred to Man. city- scored the goal which sealed their fate.

I remember Atkinson nearly sent them down as well. Until Ferguson turned up and took two seasons to sort out the mess.

Villa need to change the manager before that happens. Ie now!
