Now snowing heavily in Spalding Lincs, the V6 is tucked away gleaming in the garage till this lot goes! Will use the Terracan in any bad weather.

My missus has just set off for home from Sheffield, says she may be some time as traffic is at a standstill. It's stopped here in Wakefield and is turning to slush.

We've had a good coating here today. Saw a cock in an Insignia going to fast on the A483 just outside wrexham today, he must have run onto the 6ft wide standing snow between the outside lane and the central reservation, next thing you know he's veered into the barrier and then he's spinning down the road and into the side of a wagon. He wasn't very happy when I called him a gentlemans sausage  ::)

It's been slinging it down heavily here for the last hour after being on-off all day. Horrible thick, wet stuff that lays and turns slushy underfoot, gawd help us if it freezes overnight ::) ;D

Loads this afternoon, looked OK at work but as I got closer to home there was a lot more. I took a turn onto a country lane, to take a detour to a shop; I got quite a shock the wind was up an blowing off the large open fields, total white out and drifting quickly some a few inches deep of fresh snow - no problem for the Jeep though........... :D :D :D
