I may have mentioned this before, but my sc3 are absolutely terrible in snow. Really are bad.

oh atrocious, absolutely appalling. Really really bad. A bob slay would stop quicker.

Even with sc3 though, do I really need winter tyres?

your sc3 will remain new.. and you wont have to wait thawing
 
ps: but I have to agree that keeping a good nick miggy at home when it snows is a good idea

SC5s aren't too bad. Not great, but usable. Apart from they dive side to side like a part worn Falken.

...but only for 1 4 weeks of the year, instead of the other way round.

I've said publically before, Winter Tyres are not a magic solution.  Oh, gayboy is going to have a field day

Oh Contraire, I have to disagree..

Back in the early 80's I had a Ford Escort Mk3 1.6 FWD (I also had a wide rage of other cars including Vx) and I had a set of studded tyres fitted to the front wheels. As a young lad I loved the dry days, an easy car to spin the wheel and I could make sparks....
