Guinness?

Neh.

Not for me, you could fill holes in the road with that stuff.

But the proper draught stuff in Ireland...... ;D

I could be persuaded.

I work for UDV, who own Guinness, I get it for much cheapness!

Shame I dont like the tinned stuff. :-/

So you work for Guinness FRIEND
It's the real Dublin stuff that I'm talking about, I play with a Band over there from time to time & simply live on the stuff for days
Bumped into Ronnie Wood in the Brazen Head one time & we drank a few that afternoon!
Canned stuff will do in an emergency!  ;)

Drank nothing else when I went to Dublin, every pub served a perfect pint. Like draught in cans but not Guinness original :y

Sainsbury's have a deal on at the moment.  Choose three of the following, Stella, Carling or Magners for £20.  So I came home yesterday with 45 bottles of Stella for £20.  Guess the sunshine being out made me think I might need some beers over the next few days...

they sell wine too :y

Sorry to sound like a snob but, as I recall they only sell one or two bottles I would call wine... the rest is just fermented grape juice....

Remember producers keep the good stuff for the home market and export the pish to Britain.

Oh and Phil_her_up, here in Germany I have just bought an 18 x 500ml pack of Erdinger ( a very nice Weissbeer ) for 20€ which included a 5€ deposit on the bottles which I get back once I am suitably sober enough to return them   ;)

18 pints for 15€ (12 quid) and normal price too :y
