Vauxhall are now moving into installing LPG within the factory for the first time - I am one of the lucky few that have been taken on to train and install the LPG system to the astra sports tourer.  off to Germany in a couple of weeks to start training - will defo be converting the MV6 once i  am certified

It's interesting that there is renewed interest in factory fit LPG. Is this for the UK market or elsewhere?

Are they sending you to Russelsheim for training, if so there are a couple of good bars in the town square. If you are and get the chance try and get a look around classic car collection

Hope they are now going to make a better job than they did on the old Astras etc

I wonder if they'll do what they did with diesels. Make them so expensive that it takes about ten years to get your momey back through fuel savings.

Second hand is the way to go 

Last Veccy LPG factory fit i bought a few years ago.....At auction...3 years old...70k miles....£4050  Sold it 12 months later for £3500 after id rented it out for £3650 (only had it rented for 6 months)

We are only doing the 1.4 astra - which i imagine will be much more expensive although they are saving money converting them in the factory instead of sending them to an outside company
