This is amazing...
after taking up Entwood's advice on how to get a trade card from

under the topic 'TC Where?' I  sent my application off on Friday 25th April.  This morning Monday 28th April I have received membership confirmation, a 'Straight Six News' magazine and my Vauxhall Registered Trade Club Card! :) :)

What quality service!! :y :y

You cannot beat that, and now I would strongly recommend them to anyone! :y :y

got mine last week too lizzie, had a bit of hassle with local vauxhalls on using it at first but sorted now. :y :y

Yes, I rather expect that to be the case, but it seems we have to just quote to the dealer the details given in the letter :y   Only 400 dealers are registered however, so do you think that covers most of the 'big boys'? :-?

when i spoke to the bloke at vaux he said a lot of the trade cards are owned by clubs and magazines and its at the dealers discretion. but they will give you the trade prices. if not ring him and he will sort it out for you

ABS is an example of how to run a club properly.
They are very very good, and while their knowledge of the Omega is not as comprehensive as ours  ;) , they know pretty much everything about all the other 6 cylinder Vauxhalls.

For anyone wanting a trade club card, there is no better choice!

AS meet on the third sunday of each month at South Mimms servivces and are always open to newcomers turning up for a lunch time coffee. while the trade card is probably the main reason many are joining atm i would recommend taking the time for members to familiarise themselves with the club and their mag.

Agreed, if people were to join just for the card, they would miss out on all the other things the club offer.

got mine 2 days after applying for it, they hadnt even paid the cheque in!

Agree with all of the above. Have just received my renewal within days and cheque not out yet. Only wish i could get access to 'the price list' as ABS admin is not aware of it.

i'm going to have to get off my a$$ and apply....

its a shame that they don't do online payment, sounds really pathetic but the hassle of finding the cheque book and walking to the post box..............

PM me your TC number and ABS number (both on the card) ;)

As it happens, the online price list is STILL down, but at least you'll have access when it comes back online.
