Does it do it all the time or only after the car has not been used for a few days?

Mine does this when not used for a few days (on first start up only) and i thought it could be battery/alternator / moisture build up related? Hopefully some with more knowledge will be able to give a more qualified answer.

My saloon does it if left for a few days of not being started. It's caused by a drop in voltage in the battery. First signs of battery dying.

Does sound like you have a small drain going on somewhere. Ive bought new batteries in the past that wouldn't hold a full charge also the cold weather doesn't help

I did wonder if it was weather related, being cold and damp ect. Im not worried anyway, as long as everything works  ;)

Just wondered why it did this thats all.  ???

My old saloon as in the little picture does the same cause my son only uses it one a week now. If you do start having problems just get a drop test done. On the wife's Mondeo if left more than a week the needles do the same but it also clears the trip and fuel consumption readings. In the summer it's worse.

Im going to do this just in case, then im going to keep an eye on it, see if it still does it when it gets warmer  :)
