Will it make any odds if there's a significant difference in LPG pressure vs. water pressure? (I don't know the answer to this, btw, or even if the pressures differ .. it's just a thought)

er, maybe. Thing is, it doesnt seem to matter how tight the jubilees are, the rubber hose retracts, it leaks, but the clip cant adjust until i do it up again, obviously.

if it was spring loaded, the rubber can retract if it wants, the water hose clips hold a constant tension, plus they dont have the almost flat area behind the screw, which is exactly where the water pipe modifications to the vaporisor have leaked in the past, although thaty was aminor thing partly due to using plastic elbows as a get by.

having removed water pipes from hbv's etc there seems to be plenty of grip on the pipes.

But its a good point, is there comparable pressure between water and gas systtems...?

is 1.1 bar of gas pressure relevant to the whole post vap system?  :-\

So anyone know if LPG post vap pressure is comparable to water hose pressure....?

Although.... I could put both jubilees and hose clips on I suppose. :)
