Whats wrong with a Vectra mr clarkson  :( Should of had a go in a 2.5  :P

Could hardly believe my ears, praise for a Vauxhall! That must have hurt them. But why are Ford bothering to do a Right hand drive Mustang for over here only to lumber it with a 2.0litre Ecoboost engine?

Ecoboost , does that mean its got twin turbo's  :-\ ;D

It's a single (tiny tiny) turbo on the back of a 2.0 I4 engine with variable intake & exhaust cam timing - essentially the same engine in the Focus ST, some Volvos etc:

AFAIK, anyway. Not what you'd want in the Mustang really - the only reason to buy one are looks & the V8 noise, after all ;D

But it would be better on fuel and no need to redesign the fuel tank  ;D

Wonder how fast the Stig can get around that track with the same car?

The V6 Vectra-B was a bit shite. Admittedly not as shite as the (less cramped) V6 Vectra-C

That's interesting TB.  I thought the Facelift Vectra B was a really nice car to be in.  I owned 1 (a V6), and later a Vectra C (albeit not the V6) and the interior of the 'C' was so uninspiring, just very dull, much like the exterior.

As for driving experience, the 'B' won hands down for me everytime - In fact, if I could find a nice 2.5/6GSi, I'd consider buying it.

Of course, cars are very much like the opposite sex...... what is attractive to one person is minging to the next!  ;D

The rugby thing was worse than boring. It annoys me that all those virtually new cars were bashed about in the name of light entertainment. Except it wasn't. Oh and how it dragged on. Pitiful. TG is stale and well beyond its sell by date

+1

Prefer 5th Gear now (even if VBH is married now) ::)
