Err, no.....

Debs wrote about her experiences here Crank Sensor Variants (esp 2.5 V6 (X25XE)) .

You should be safe with the 2.6 because there is only one listed (and it is the cheaper one :y)

90540743 is the crank sensor listed for 2.6, 3.2 and 3.0 V6 ;)

2.6 takes the cheaper one.

Not sure I'd use a used one as a spare though...

90492006 has the "old type" connector (metalclip side lock)

90540743 has the "new type" connector (plastic front lock)

I have just done mine and its a 2.6 52 plate and as TB says its the cheaper one V0090540743
£53.48 inc vat with TC  :y

on my 3.0 there was a choice of two... cant remember the numbers but one had a plastic sensor end and one was a metal end , i am on my 4th one now  :o
if you have a quick look before and see if yours is metal or plastic it might save u some agro.  :)
