turns over along time before firing

anybody know why my omega elite turns over for about 15 secs before starting thanks seemslike diesel not there ?????

Elite will be a V6 or one of the diesel variants. Can you clarify which engine :)

Does it only happen when the tank is below quarter full?

Is the fuel filter full of diesel?
