Reading between the lines here, there's something that's been festering for a good while now. As I have never felt the need to contact an admin, I am at a loss as to what it is. But it needs sorting, now.

And there would still be meets, of course, but, from what I can gather, they are becoming sparsely attended.

After attending one way back, I think I know why :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

?

I made it clear at the time as TB knows, and I am not going to drag it all up again on the Forum as I know I will be accused of over sensitivity.  :y :y

But it is enough to raise the point and leave a hook dangling for those not conversant?

All I have said in answer to the previous poster is "I know why" and that is all that I need to say.   ;)

I think admins gave the message and already decided.. :-\

Fair enough.  Comments like your initial 'I know why etc', however, are easily read as devisive and do the forum no favours.   :) :-X

You know what I mean ht21.  By "vote" I mean at some stage you, TB, and the others will decide what form you want the Forum to take, and/or what changes you will make.  Is that not fact?  ??? ??? ??? ???

If not, what is this all about?  ??? ??? ???

And you know what I mean LZ.  Discussion on assorted topics takes place within modchat, certainly, but it is not exactly full of current threads, by no stretch of the imagination.

This thread is for members discussion, with mod input (where they want to) and currently, nothing more. :)

So this is a political thread to ascertain how members feel about political discussions and "stuff" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You would not make a good politician ht21 :D :D :D ;) ;)

God, this thread itself is getting too serious for even me now!  Instead of having a laugh we are all I am getting very self conscious of what  I say and guilty for saying it!  My head hurts, and I am going to lay down in a darkened room! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

But it has already been stated how the attendance levels are down on happier past times, so what have I added that is so "devisive" (sic) ? ::) ::) ::)

As said I am going for a lay down now!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

..........

As I said further back the thread, it was initially for politics yes/no and I steered it to keep that path however thread drift, that common thing on OOF, took place hence the 'stuff' became to the forefront(ish).

Unlike some, i know my limitations and politician is not on my radar.  What you see (for real or online) is what you get.... :)

And so it should be, Broocie. I, for one, cannot be arsed with silly games going on in the background. As for Jaimie's comments about 'agendas', then anyone who has/needs one in a place like this is sadly lacking in real life.

Sweet Jesus! are you lot reading the shit you are typing?

I have been here from the very beginning, and those that were here at the same time will remember the saga of my car, and the help received from members of this forum - way beyond anything that could be believed frankly!  THAT was the original spirit of this place!

Having not had an omega for years now, I only stay on the forum (mainly just reading) for the off chance I may be able to offer some help in return.

I have to say, over the last few months, I have hovered over the delete account button on a number of occaisions.

My view - politics is not the issue, it is the same people saying the same things over and over and over and over again - the only thing that ever changes is the venomous way other peoples views are put down.

If I were admin - in all honesty I would hit the delete button on the gen dis section of the site.

If someone's got a problem with someone else, sort it out once and for all eh or leave   >:(

Thanks  :(
