Iam Looking at the autel code readers but I need to try and find a scanner that will read and clear any codes on the family cars at present my omega(code 430), the wifes (services is now due) and a 2002 fiat punto(air bag light) I think this may be a tall order but I would also like it under £100. Any ideas welcome.

for this money will read(clear) codes on engine only
EDIT:
I use autel DS708 where you can read and clear codes on most cars and models

I think it will work on the 2.6 because it's OBDII  :y

If so I stand corrected.  :y

I thought there was something about the 26/3.2 and ODBII scanners?  :-\

I've got the MS509 too, but I've no actual experience of using it on a 2.6/3.2, but as they are OBDII I can't see why it wouldn't. I know the MS509 will talk to a 2.2 though  :y

I have an MS509 which works just fine on the 3.2 (and I'd imagine the 2.6) - well, I will have when I get it back from Chris ;D

As serek says, though, 'consumer' scanners like that are going to reset engine codes & sometimes trims, but aren't going to put out an airbag light or pull codes from any ancillary systems.. But I suspect the DS708 is out of most of our price ranges..

I haven't tried the airbag lights with mine but it does remove engine codes and read the live data off the jaaaag

The ms509 does work on reading codes from a 2.6, Chris put this onto my car the last time I visited. :y After looking about I think it will cost hundreds to do what I need so I think a visit to the dealers for the fiat and the nissan. :'(
