Wanted: bonnet stays
« on: 02 June 2013, 17:08:13 »

Pair of bonnet stays needed for my 1999 3.0 Elite. They suddenly stopped doing their job for no obvious reason, and I'm fed up with having to prop the bonnet open with a piece of wood.

Colour immaterial  :)

Just found the Omegaparts site - that never used to be here, but I haven't visited for ages.

They've got what I want...

Dont forget to mention OOF for your discount or Free Dlivery.  :y

If you get stuck, I'll have a set of a MV6 when I finnished ripping stuff out of the Engine Bay.  ;)

Sounds good to me - according to the Omegaparts website, the stays seem to fit all Omegas.

Forgotten how to buy things on here - could you send me a message, please, to tell me the total cost and how to pay and I'll let you know where to send them.

Actually ...... they're not  ;). They're the same dimensionally, but are a tad stronger - presumably a facelift bonnet is a little heavier due to the grille being fixed to it.  :y

The stronger the better - as said earlier - don't want it coming down on me 'ead.  Or to be more accurate, the garage man's head - he'd sue me for sure!
