BMW only seem to make 'ugly cars' these days.

Shame really, because the E39 was a bit of a looker.

The old M5, the one with the V8 lump and 'just' 400 B.H.P, was a great car.

What are they going for these days?

E39 M5's can be had for as little as £4000 (not a great example) now, but they're just on the turning point of where the value will start going up again. £6000 would see you with a 2000 model with reasonable miles and in good nick  :y.
