But these are for fitment as well no ? Last time i tried with a hammer and socket , there for days , Unless there is a 2 ton press available  :-\

Reference the topic title, I think Mark was referring to the pubic bush.  ;) ;D ;D

No experience of that one but I've seen the Sealey version in action and they seem to do the job.  :y

I considered buying the Sealey kit. Shame they are not more universal so that they fit a variety of bushes.  :-\ :y

A silky smooth bush is always preferable. :)

I have that kit, if the bush is tight in the arm then it is poss that you will knacker the threaded rod that comes withe the kit, i had to order replacment rods as they are like butter if pressed into hard service.

I think what ill do if i need new ones pressing out and in is to take the arms off and take to an engineering shop , hitting it with a hammer takes ages  >:(

good luck with any tools if the bushes are corroded in.they are persons of dubious parentage when they are. >:(

Getting them out is fairly easy with a lump hammer , getting the new ones back in though
