The Mini Cooper is a hairdresser's car. Nobody on here would own such a car. :)

Many years ago when I was thinking of taking up hairdressing (decided against it as my degree is in polymer technology), I did indeed own a Mini Cooper "S" - it was a 1293cc example, running either 2 twin choke webers, or sometimes 4 amals, on a cross flow head, with twin pot calipers etc etc.  Not very well appointed or comfortable inside, but nice drivers seat (passengers had to stand or sit on the floor) with full harness - went rather well round race tracks though ;)

And definately not gay - thats for poofters ;D ;D

Funnily enough in the car park behind my flat, there is a Mini Cooper Estate thing, a diesel & automatic  ::)

They cannot park it to save their life, its always, very, very badly parked!  ::)

Son's wife has the Cooper S convertible - few issues but we get by with independent garage which keeps costs down. Run flat tyres have been a problem
