my step dad cut up an old rover shell-into panels so owner could use them as parts on the rovers he restores-thats how i got engine bay/tunnel for mine--it was cool watching him do that--pity did not take piccies  :'(

A few years back I plasma-cut the passenger front floor, inner sill, chassis rail and tunnel edge out of a Triumph 2500 and with a little bit of trimming managed to weld the whole lot into a mate's 2000 estate.

We also had most of the rear quarter panels and wheel tubs, but never got around to doing that job.

Plasma cutters are great tools, but they don't work too well on multi-skinned panels. The best tool for cutting up bodyshells is a 12" disc cutter.

Well martin took the middle section silencer off today and its was like a tea strainer inside  :o Everything collapsed inside and rotted ... sure it was stopping the full flow of gasses and blowing out one of the joints  :(

So we opened it up ...

Get some masking tape round it and get it in the parts for sale section.Ralf will have that  :y
