Are you going to wear a red suit and white beard as you do it, Jaime.  Oh, and, can we take pictures please?

Now I am very worried.... ;)

Mind you, maybe I should ask the local girls to dress up and be 'Santas little helpers' - you'd all be round here like a shot!

Happy Xmas :)

Hi Just a quick question re this Tech2 work. You mention a price for Climate Control reprogram, what exactly does this do?
The reason i ask is that as I have mentioned on these pages my heating has gone a bit Pete Tong in my 1999 2.0 CDX, I can't get the heater direction POD to open any of the vents.
As I have the car booked into my local VX dealers to have an annual service on the LPG system I have asked them to look at my heating. I know all they will say is that I have to replace this and that and it will cost an arm and a leg.

I only ask as I live upt 'north so I can;t get to you to have the work done anyway?

Appreciate any information.

The climate reprogram wouldn't fix your problem - its for people who have changed their climate unit due to failure and it has wrong config on (different configs between saloon and estate).

I live data feed or fault code read may give some clues....

My guess with yours would be either a vacuum problem, or the sampling fan failed. If not that, then possibly the climate unit has failed. Cheap enough from ebay normally...

Many thanks for the quick reply, please excuse my ignorance, when you say the climate unit has failed, do you mean the round POD with the direction buttons?
