yeah I've got a few now mate. tbh when it comes to servicing (fluids, filters, plugs, brakes etc) I now don't need any help. very confident with just cracking on (apart from those ford brake shoes... but at least I wont make that mistake again  ;D).

but as said timing belts I need lots more real world experience. I did timing belt on ralf but that was aided by mark dtm's cambelt dvd. and ive done a few on engines that are on stands but I want the buzz of doing them and getting to turn the engine on and seeing if I make anything explode witnessing the fruits of my labour  ;D ;D ;D ;D

next course starting in sept covers lots of timing belt replacements too so looking forward to that.

obviously your fingers were where they shouldn't have been.  ::) ::)

Capri/Cortina gearboxes were p*** easy to lift into place ......... or was that because I was much younger & stronger?  ??? ;D ;D

And the location of the filter is not in the engine bay, after taking car for a test drive, the service has improved the engine,no more hesitation and holding back on power, see how that goes for her lol
