Just signed up to photobucket so i can download my piccies but its soooo confusing. what am i to look for? how the hell do i do it?

I don't use photobucket .. I use imageshack .. but I'll bet the procedure is similar ..

Upload the picture from your system to photobucket. The picture will now have a photobucket link/name

use that link/name in the place you want the picture to appear  using the image tags .. but do NOT put the * in .. this is here just to show the code or it tries to show an image !!

So .. if the link/name is  http://photobucket/picture456.jpg

then [img*]http://photobucket/picture456.jpg[/img*]

will show the picture

as an example .. I have a picture on imageshack :

without the *

once you have signed up you will have your own online album.

You upload pics from your computer, using the "upload" button iirc in the top right.

When the pics are uploaded they will appear in your album with three boxes underneath each -- these contain the addresses for each pic.

If you copy the IMG address and paste it into the dialogue box when posting to the forum, the picture should appear, in all it's glory, in your post.

To upload an avatar itno yout profile I think there's an address there for avatars --- this will resize the image accordingly.
