all do the same job. as long as you change them at the service interval they should be fine  :y

sure theres a guide, check ze maint section. you should depressurise the system first. although I didn't bother. some petrol came out. no biggy. just be aware of it

you'll need a special tool to undo the ''not-so-quick release clips''. machine mart sell it. comes in a pack of 3 iirc

just be gentle with them. I ended up breaking the line when I did it.... if you do (and I hope you don't) make a repair using 10mm (iirc) fuel hose over the break in the line and use small jubilee clips to hold :)

there only appears to be a guide for the estate  :-\

but anyway, support rear of vehicle, drivers rear wheel off, look up and you'll see it staring straight at you ;)

the filter is clipped in both sides. use the tool to press the clips in and at the same time gently pull the filter away (I found twisting it helps but again be gentle). do that both sides. undo the jubilee clip holding the thing in place. remove and discard. refit is reverse of removal but just make sure you get it in the correct direction i.e. fuel flow arrow pointing towards the engine.

couple of things to note..... cover your drive with rags or card board as fuel will piss out. wear your safety glasses. and its the done thing to relieve fuel pressure...... as said I didn't bother but just know that fuel will shoot out hence the rags and the glasses

hth

quick edit....

its not a jubilee clip holding the FF in place... its actually just a plastic strap. easy to undo  :y

Almost received all the bits required to do this  :y

Just one question is removing fuse 18 (20amps yellow) a good idea while the engine is running to help depressurise the fuel pressure as suggested below  ?
