I had originally posted this on AA thread, but on the advice of Wheels in Motion i have started afresh...

After chatting to them i felt the car needed some serious money spending
They kept going on about everytime they adjusted the front tracking the steering moved 3 degrees without adjustment and how the rear track arms were in the process of siezing up and they were afraid to adjust them.....
The car is chewing up the inner edges of front tyres after 13,000 miles, i has a pull to one side, which is now very prominent (i haven't hit anything like a kerb) pressures are set to 30PSi, nearly all my driving is A roads and Motorways at cruising speed.
Any ideas?
Number one stop panicking, there are issues and i want to help as best i can.... From the report i can read that the front tyres are wearing about 10% of the total width on the insides and the car is pulling left! steering wheel is right hand down.
The rear toe comment does not make sense.. if the rods were seized then how come they (over adjusted the OSR) from a -1.6mm to a +2.4? so this explanation from the shop is pants.
The reason for the pull is the disparity from the front castor position this needs investigation.
The inner front tyre wear is very common on the Omega and solely due to the dynamics of the suspension... In an ideal world the front coil rate would compliment the fluid camber curve from the suggested -1 40' camber static position... You have a static - 2 09 so dynamically the car will be way out of the checking range.... basically the front camber positions are to deep...
Historically wim found a position of -1 20' to be safe in the most desperate of situations.. So if you go by the book the position needs to be -1 40' or by wim -1 20' but definitely not -2 09'.
