Due to a very few prats who have screwed around with OOF members.. the Admin team have had to try and prevent the "take the money and run" attitude of those few. So they have put limits on.

Parts are relatively small, both in size and value, so cash, personal cheques etc etc are used for payment, and Post/courier is used/promised for delivery. If this goes wrong there is NO comeback.

Cars are big, get picked up personnaly, and ebay/paypal/bankersdraft etc etc are usually used .. so if the seller defaults there is often a comeback route.

For these reasons, I believe, the admins put the 250 / 50 rules into place... as well as the "wall of shame" list where the problems can be shown.

That is my take on the situation, if an Adminer passes I'm sure they'll correct any errors/misunderstandings ...

Sounds fair enough, I have been a member on other forum's where stuff like that has taken place not that I have personally had any issues. Things can get quite nasty.  :-/
