Cant see 4G making it to Brakkers this side on 2020. 3G would be nice ;D

even 3g useless imo.. batteries cant keep up..   :-\  only for short data transfers its useful..  I have to say I hate charging mobile everyday (says who carries 2 back up)
In the UK, 2G is useless. Packets time out before being delivered. 3G is ideal, assuming you dont need pub bragging rights.

huh ???
Too many users with smartphones, insufficient capacity, so GPRS packets have a high failure rate.

The GPRS signalling protocols are so ridiculously cumbersome that it doesn't really work carrying IP traffic with a single phone loading the network, believe me!

"I'd like to do something, please"
"Who said that?"
"Me"
"Better encrypt this in case someone's listening"
"OK"
"Can you still hear me?"
"Yes. What would you like to do"
"Send an IP frame, please"
"..and how big is this frame?"
"Oh, sod it, the user's given up now" ...
