Apparently (according to a tv program i watch a few months back) Baked beans on toast (wasnt brand specific) provide all the necessary vitamins and roughage you need on a daily basis....they concluded that beans on their own where slightly down on roughage.....but the toast made up for that.....so apparently you can have a healthy diet by eating beans on toast every day    :y

As long as you put butter/marg on the toast, yeah, you need fat to survive. Another programme said you could survive on potatoes with butter.

True Mr Opti  ;D......also it would a very boring diet.....but then i know someone....who had to change his diet for health reasons....big style.....so he did....now he eats sensible healthy portions....fruit/brown bread/etc......and he's windier than ever lol!  ;D

I recall reading that baked beans on toast is as good for you as steak and chips...... :y :y

I don't often agree with our Bury Beanz man, but Branston, thats just wrong....

I usually buy co-op own brand beans .... taste just as nice and half the price of hienz  :y
