Is this a one off carlton or was it in actual production?

I got told that there was no such thing but i dont think its true.

Is it real?

Yes it is real. I know someone in Germany with one of the Omega 4.0 versions.

He's had it since new. It was 2 years old when I drove it many years ago. Very nice car at the time (and now TBH), but I still prefer the LC.

Never seen or heard of a standard 3.0 GSI Cavalier :-/

I would love to own one, but obviously i would rather own a Lotus Carlton :y

Yes!  The Lotus Carlton was a great car, not that I ever owned one or the other Carlton I wanted at the time the 3000GSI :'(
