Just got back home from London.  The roads are abysmal!  Blown all over the place, so much so the missus thought I was sleeping at the wheel.  A lot of standing water around these parts, so watch it with those Falkens ;D

Rock steady belting down the almost empty m4 this evening on my lovely sc3 mo.

No where near as bad as it is now mind you. :o

Windy and hissing it down. Dont know how much more my fencing can take.

Oh! Don't remind me about my fence. All sorts of noises out there. Think I'll be waking up to carnage tomorrow morning.

Gliding club weather station has seen gusts over 50kts today. I'm surprised the pole is still upright, TBH. :o

Thanks for the weather station link, which I have bookmarked, where it is interesting to see the weather in this vicinity.  :y :y :y

Noisy fences? Creaking houses?
You're all a bunch of bloody lightweights, I've been in and out all night with wreckage off the motorways.
Still, 40 minutes sleep ought to be enough to last me through Christmas Eve!

All quiet, it's like nothing ever happened. Although haven't dared look at the fences yet. :(

I had a very peaceful night. Bloody binmen woke me at 7:30 this morning, so I had to order coffee in bed from the female.

You'd think a milk float would be heavy enough not to get blown about with all those batteries on board :P ;D

T'was a bit windy on the way home last night, and it seemed everyone I came across had lost the ability to drive in a straight line or at a constant speed.. but other than that, not a problem around here. Lots of bits of tree on the road this morning, though.

Same system is doing a quick lap of Iceland to refuel and pick up speed, should be worse in the wee small hours of friday looking at the wave heights :o
