I stopped smoking five years ago, but I'm still on the nicotine gum. Love it  ;D

I'm gonna relax a bit more, or try to organise my time better. I seem to always be running around. Most days I'm knackered by 11 o'clock.

We've noticed.....by 11am you become grumpy and keep falling asleep....

Gave up 2 years ago whilst on holidays, iam now a smoker who chooses not to smoke..
easiest way is to extend the amount off time till you have your first fag of the day, its the first one which affects you the most, and don't make a date or any off that clap trap, you have to want to not smoke, get that in your mind first, then the extended first fag and you should do it,remember you are a smoker who chooses not to...
i could easily start agai,as i do miss a fag and a cuppa,but i chose not to...

To try and stop smoking. Its costing me around £200 a month and thats just madness. And of course the health issue side of things as well.
Gave up for 3 years about 10 years ago. Done it cold turkey the last time but not so sure I can this time so considering what help is best?
Patches? Gum? Signing up to nhs ?

I found that NiQuitin lozenges worked for me.

I started on the 4mg tabs, and after two weeks was down to the 1.5mg where I stayed for another 9 weeks.

The lozenges are ordinarily £5 a pack (20 in a pack), but I got mine free through the NHS stop smoking deal.
I'll tell you for free right now that it wasn't just down to the lozenges where giving up was concerned, all they did was give me the nicotine fix I required at the time, there is still a fair amount of willpower involved as well.

I have found a good way to give up smoking.. put one bullet in a revolver , aim your head and pull the trigger until it fires ;D

Or...you could just go out with a banner that says "Erdogan is a bent bastid", that would do it  :y
