At the stage of thinking a smoke wont harm and nip out and get a 10 pack  but ill feel sick having a smoke then feel bad i did it  And a juicy steak with chips is on my mind with a jam rollie pudding with custard for afters

Have the steak and chips as a reward to yourself with the money saved on fags

In my humble opinion, you've got very little chance of success if you follow your current regime. You can't just stop everything all at once, it simply will not work. You need to do it one thing at a time. Decide which is most important and concentrate on that (that would be smoking for me). As for your diet, promise yourself a treat now and again and look forward to it.
You are either a smoker or you aren't, there is a bit more leeway with food.

Emd, red meat (oily or not) will increase hormone production.. which then will trigger desire for smoke..


of course you cant stay hungry with a type 2 ..


but as you become older your bowel movements will slow down ..


to compansate you have to exercise and eat less ..  or if you eat same as before you have to take metformin or similiar things to decrease absorption ..  its a known fact that when blood sugar levels increase it also triggers desire to smoke..


also , when you gave up smoking your bowels will slow down more at first which later may turn to normal.. but if you continue to eat same as before you will gain excess weight which will worsen the picture for type 2


and get a blood glucose metering device and keep under hand..  so those who scares you with hypoglycemia will feel better

you have to take metformin

Ive been taking the metformin cem and eating less , stomach shrinks with eating less or so im told  I haven't given in to the fags and still puffing on the inhalator but not getting the same kick as a smoke  Would a steak and chips be ok for a treat at the weekend say
