Hope fully the Transit does not get stripped like the Audi RS5 that was in the papers last week after being abandoned after the New year floods

Edit

Too slow

Funny you mentioned Audi, as the van now has an Audi Q7 to keep it company.  ::) I'm not going to criticise as it may have been dark and I know what that's like.  :'( :'(

The levels dropping slowly.

Probably a good thing they didn't get any further, could have hit the van head on at speed :-\

Judging by the angle it's on and the fact that it entered the water from the shallow end, I'm wondering if he/she thought " I'm doing ok here, yeh not too bad at all, I'm gunna make it..... Sh*t, who put that van there.  ;D ;D

Given the current predicament in Berkshire/Surrey, might it not be prudent to open the Thames Barrier and allow the locks and wiers up as far as Reading Reading to free flow?

Just wondering like :-\

Large puddles are almost invisible on dark unlit roads. Even if there is street lighting, the depth isn't always obvious :-\

I understand your point but I always thought: high beam+fog lights+full caution during poor weather conditions...
Anyhow, nice to meet you  :y

High beam and foglights aren't always practical :-\ Can't account for crap design or human stupidity either ::)
