If you read the previous posts, we were discussing broadband.

Sky Broadband, is installed by Openreach, not Sky.

But no, you don't read what goes before, just see the word Sky and just bash on about the same thing all the time.

How many times did I offer to get your install sorted? As I have for others here. (with great reports) - Sadly I wasted my time on you ::)

For ADSL services, Sky just send the router, customer installs.

For Fibre services, Sky get BT Openreach to fit the vDSL modem (aka Openreach Modem) and NTE5 faceplate, and send the router to the customer for them to plug in.

This is no different to any other ISP, except BT Retail no longer get Openreach to fit a modem (but an Openreach engr still needed for the install).

BT said they would deliver my modem kit yesterday, nothing has arrived yet ::)

Openreach bod booked here for Tuesday, not sure what they will actually do. Already a Openreach branded socket on the wall, not sure if previous owners had fibre though.

If it is a BT home hub 5 you do not have the open reach modem anymore and no need for BT to do anything

What I thought, maybe as a new owner/line, things need to be done ?
