got a few questions for the interview which will help me decide.

Main points for me are:

1) Will the role in San Jose, be as varied as here. (i do alot of things outside my job description)

2) Will they match the salary i get here

3)Costs relating to Visa/Moving, will there be a relocation package.

I need the answers to those before i would say yes/make my decision.

I doubt it as you are requesting the move rather than them relocating you.

It will be something i ask for, even if its just a months rent in advance and the cost of the flight over there. If it makes me seriously out of pocket, i won't go.

That might sound as if you're not really serious about the move. If you really want to go and you think it's a good move (I certainly do), then take the financial hit and go for it.

Not wishing to sound bitter, but I wish I'd done it when I was younger. You've always got a place with your parents if it doesn't work out.

Way i look at it, if they want me, they will give me a package.

If they don't really want me and i have to pay to get out there, i don't really want to work there...

Visa costs can get into the thousands, plus a flight, mounts up a lot.

Have to see what they say.
