1999 V is the first of the facelifts...

quite a few W plate ones around.

Mines Nov 99, on a V and Facelift --- so round about then it could be anything !

It wasn't a 2000 W minifacelift, it would have been a 99 minifacelift (last letter of VIN was X) ;)

I'm baffled by all this. How many different pre-fixes were used in 1999 then ?  :-/ :-/
My Miggy was registered on 15 - 01 - 99 and was on an " S" plate when I got the car.

(Although it's now on my personal "R" plate )

Does it mean that S  T  & V   were all used during 1999?

S T V used in 99, but dealers/vauxhall may have had old stock, so still selling MY99 cars (ie made up until summer of 99) in early 2000

It was a 1999 model, and made at some point between autumn 98 and autumn 99 (assuming last letter was an X - else it was made between autumn 97 and autumn 98).

my gold Facelift was a V and reg 02-01-2000, however when you look at all the trim there were date stamps for 08/99, it had been sat around for that long!!!

my CDX is a 51 reg but a 2002 model, it shares its birthday with my daughter 10/09/01

Likely made 4 - 8 weeks after these dates...
