Not really.  She has been very patient, seeing as the blind has been in hall since I went arse over tit on the bike over 2 years ago.

When she asked what I was going to do this weekend, I said fit that shelf and blind. She didn't believe me for some reason ::)

Personally, I wouldn't use any oil based product on glass. Try vinegar or lemon juice. If it's really embedded rub gently with some very fine grade wire wool until it starts to lift then apply more moisture. Oily stuff will stick to the surface of the glass and would be a bugger to get off.  :y

Depends on what type of glass cleaner you use, though.  I use the Autoglym stuff (which is also petroleum based) so does the job a treat....  The cheaper blue spray on stuff at 10p a gallon generally does not do a good job anyway, IMO.
