cheers :y, what type of gaskets do i need for the other end to the silencers?

Tunis, nice pics re welding. Forgive my lack of knowledge but these flexi sections. . . Are they there to join two sections and allow for movement during driving?

I ask cos I.m having a mare trying to fit down pipe to centre pipe... Just keeps blowing  :-\

Flexi takes the vibration out of the zorst, as V6 are naturally smoother they don't need them.

So you have the downpipe from the exhaust manifold, goes into a pre-cat, then underneath and into a flexi before the main cat.

Over time they just corrode, first one failed at approx 100k, this one went at just 165k or so? So not bad for a cheapo ebay bit.

What keeps blowing, the flexi?  :-\
