I thought that help and advice on here was free due to the good nature of the members on here....On each occasion i have asked for help it was given freely and received with many thanks. ???

It is. However dave promptes his company here, most members in fact 99% of them are not here to make money but save.

Considering Dave gets a lot of custom through forums. Be nice if he appreciated that.

Allgermanparts for example offer us a discount as we recommend them  :y

I am with Entwood on this... have required Daves input on a few matters, and any help has been freely and promptly given, including one occasion right before Christmas a couple of years ago :-[

No fuss, no drama, simply sound and knowledgeable input :y

Is there any forum discount?

Afraid not, but then I`m not charging for my advice either   8)

Shame, as often people (me included) have reccomended you here.  So getting work from here at no cost and not offering anything back to the community. Ahh well. Guess there is a profit to be had  :-X
As others have suggested, I believe that Dave DND gives a lot to our members in help and advice.

Yes, he owns a business that is there to make money, but I think the highlighted part is very unfair on somebody who has taken the time to post 4000 times, always in a helpful manner.

Yes, especially when you consider that Dave makes very few frivolous posts on here, so those 4000 posts are pretty much 100% useful advice. :y

Thank you for those who have given kind words of support for my 4000 posts of technical support

To the others, Please bear in mind that I am not, never have been and never will be a fan of the Omega - I make no secret of that.

Can`t stand em.

So my presence on here, and the other 130+ forums I am on, is purely to assist you where I can, giving my time for free with some technical advice in the hope that some of you may fund my business in return by sending some repairs and decodes to me.

Make no mistake, I am here for the money, pure and simple,
and I will continue you to help you guys keep your old cars on the road for as long as I can

Dave - I applaud your honesty and freely given advice where possible.

Not at all - A balanced forum requires input from everybody, and I respect his opinion whether it be positive or negative.   :y

Does that mean I can now ignore him then?

Only kidding  :-*
