Let me have a chat with the mrs... We are thinking about dogs so may be able to help!!

I live in the country and they would be well loved and cared for!

Only trouble is that for 2 days a week they'd be alone at home for about 11 hrs...

Oh, and how do they get on with cats???

We've spoken very briefly and it wasn't a definite no... Wasn't a yes (yet!) but wasn't a no either!!  :y :y :y

Why are women such fickle creatures???  :-? :-? ::) ::)

Definitely need some more info from you as to ages and history etc... The most important thing is how they'd get on with the cat, because she has to be our first priority in the decision having lived with us for a long time!!!!

Some pictures would be good too!

Thanks. She does but, we have stoped tip bits and she gets a lot of exercise for a family Lab. She is soft as muck as they say, barks at the door bell then hides under the table.
They are a commitment, but equally rewarding. :) :) :)

Our lab couldnt have hidden under the table, she'd eaten it! Cost us a fortune in furniture, shoes, skirting boards, conservatories etc.
Dont think our cat would tolerate a dog that close, all the local dogs are terrified of him!

nice pic!  :y

Thanks for all the replies peeps, some of you have mentioned and PM'd me about rescue homes. The problem is they can go there aslong as they wont be split up, it is so important.
I would just like to add, obviously, at the moment they are molting so if you have carpet, you may have a spot of trouble and also the only fighting thay do is with each other but its only play fighting, i will try to upload a video ::) :y
Here are some pics:

They love there toys by the way. Harvey is the bigger one with the green toy and charlie is the smaller one falling asleep looking out the window :y

Oh don't they look gorgeous!!! I'm about to go out the door because I've got to go to a funeral in Hampshire but I'll chat to Mrs LD on the way and see what her thoughts are.  ;) ;)

Oh, I haven't seen an answer on how they get along with cats? Mine will soon tell them she's the boss and ignore them if they leave her alone!! Also, how old are they?

sorry mate, they get on perfectly with cats, sometimes the dogs lick the dirt of the cats :-/ :-?(dont ask) and even sleep next to each other.
As far as the age goes, i dont know it of the tiop of my head(i will check) but we bought them at the begining of september when they were 6 weeks so no more than a year mate :y

also, if someone was to have them, they love dogs beds that they can both fit in with a blanket, we took the bed away for a clean for 5 mins and they were stood by the door crying and making funny noises.
Another thing is there toys, they are superb at football and fetch, harvey (the bigger dig) likes small toys like in the picture(a ripped up volley ball) and charlie likes tug of war and likes football, you throw he will go fetch it and drop it to your feet, absoloutly brilliant.
They also love biscuits so if your biscuit lovers, the dogs wouldnt mind if thay had a biscuit each :y

Beautiful dogs  :y :y

Unfortunately we don't have the space they would need so it would be unfair to be selfish and offer to take them .. :(

Now if someone donates me a million quid to buy a smallholding, I'd have them in a jiffy   :y :y :y
