 Am near M18 J1 and M1 J31 Edge of Rotherham/Sheffied

Moved the car off the the road today as I realised the MOT has just run out.  Struggled to start the car with jump leads, did get it running in the end but a lot of light gray smoke from the exhaust with a smeel of petrol as well. :-\

The smoke isnt on that car, often smelt petrol on start up, but never ever seen smoke like this.

How long has it been stood for?

Parked it up on road in jan, started and moved it no probs as it was cold with a fresh battery about 6 weeks ago, turned it round drove it backwards and forwards 3/4 times and parked it up again.

Then again today, but battery flat again, struggled a bit to jump staet but got there after a while, then parked it up on my drive.

To be fair, the V6 takes a bit of starting if using anything other than heavy duty jump leads, especially if the battery is very flat.

Very true, but this is this first time I have ever struggled with it, normally 1st turn of key even after about 30 seconds of jumper leads going on (but thats with a healthy engine.

Was the engine tested as being watertight after the freezing incident?

Mine smoked quite a bit after being stood for a couple of months, been fine since, so think the smoke is a red herring...
